Innovations in hydrogen detection presented at the hyvolution exhibition

Come explore the latest gas and flame detection solutions offered by Teledyne Gas and Flame Detection at Hyvolution, on January 30, 31, and February 1, 2024, at Paris Porte de Versailles, France, booth E26, Hall 2.

This longstanding manufacturer of fixed and portable gas and flame detection solutions will be at Hyvolution to showcase its latest offeringsbrand-new infrared capabilities for the OLCT 100, the latest in gas utility detection through the GS700 – Hydrogen, and the innovative SpyglassTM hydrogen flame detector series

Teledyne Gas and Flame Detection understands the challenges faced by hydrogen value chain stakeholders: production, storage, compression, and utilization of hydrogen require fixed gas and flame detection to prioritize safety in your transition to hydrogen.

The OLCT 100, the flagship detector in the range, has recently been equipped with a new infrared sensor dedicated to methane detection, ensuring stable measurement and immunity from poisoning in environments with permanent gas presence, unlike a catalytic cell.

With an extensive range of products and solutions dedicated to the hydrogen sector, Teledyne Gas and Flame Detection also provides turnkey services: from commissioning to maintenance.

Among other products on display, the MX62 TP is a detection system (up to 64 secure channels) equipped with a high-resolution touchscreen for clearer visualization of critical gas detection data. Remote management of the system via an embedded web page, an optional SMS sending function for modularity and flexibility, and event recording with secure user profiles are available features.

Your site's protection can also be ensured by a wide range of detectors such as the OLCT20 designed for initial mounting applications. Its compact design allows this detector to be installed in shelters or on skids for monitoring in very small spaces or embedded applications. Another option is the DG: an intelligent gas detector with a variety of "cartridge" cell types for easy configuration and maintenance, which can be replaced with the detector powered on to reduce system downtime.

Portable detectors, manufactured at their Scottish production site, play a crucial role in safeguarding both personnel and facilities. These include the advanced GS700-Hydrogen, capable of detecting natural gas and hydrogen with a single instrument, along with the reliable and proven portable multi-gas monitor, the PS200. Demonstrations at the booth will take place throughout the day.

To guide you through this extensive range, you can attend the free conference presented by their Product Range Manager: Protecting Industrial Facilities: Hydrogen Leak and Flame - Teledyne Gas and Flame Detection Solutions and Technologies,' on February 1st at 2:00 PM in Forum 1.

Teledyne FLIR, sister company of Teledyne Gas and Flame Detection, will also exhibit the FLIR Si124-LD acoustic imaging camera on the stand to locate pressure leaks in compressed air systems or detect partial discharges in high-voltage electrical systems, the hazardous area-appropriate Cx5 thermal camera, and the infrared camera K65.

To empower safety during your hydrogen transition, Teledyne's expert team is ready to assist you in overcoming the challenge of detecting the invisible flame of hydrogen. Come and join them for live demonstrations to enhance your safety measures.
